Sally and Jackie, Regional Councillors, are visiting as many groups as possible.
Sally is building a Support Team with expertise in newsletters, AI, websites and social media to improve the website and Regional Facebook page and support u3a groups across the region. Many of you may already have explored the AI u3a Community website.
Sally and Jackie are establishing regular peer meetings for committee officers to encourage communication within and between u3a groups and networks. The first Chairs and Vice Chairs meeting was held on 1st June: meetings for Secretaries and Treasurers are planned. Please tell us if website administrators or newsletter editors would value a peer meeting.
These meetings will help local u3sa share good practice, solve problems, raise awareness beyond the local group and strengthen the movement.
