Unfortunately, the Greater Thame U3A has closed down due to a lack of volunteers able or willing to run the organisation.
After some 20 years of existence many members are now too old to commit themselves to this voluntary work even though the membership remains at about 125 persons.
However, a number of alternative U3As are available in the area including one with a large membership in the town of Thame.
