Headington u3a was founded in October 1992. We hold regular meetings which usually include a talk on a subject of general interest as well as items by individual members, and discussion. Refreshments and opportunity for friendly chat follow the talk.
Headington u3a is a member of the Thames Valley u3a Network which organises Study Days and events for u3a members. Currently held online, some charge a small fee.
We meet twice a month at the Headington Community Centre, 39 Gladstone Road, Headington, OX3 8LL. The building is a short walk along Gladstone Road from the Gladstone Road bus stop on London Road where buses stop from either direction.
New members are always welcome. For details see the Join Us page.
The program of future talks are shown under 'Dates for your Diary' on the Meetings page. Any changes will be reflected there as well as on our public Headington u3a Facebook page
Self-help study is actively encouraged, often by means of special interest groups. Details are listed from the Groups page.

We have links with other u3as in the district. Occasionally joint activities are held, and u3a members are welcome to join special interest groups run by neighbouring branches if there are vacancies.
Regional networks of special interest groups convene from time to time to share ideas and experiences.
